{"id":509,"date":"2008-08-12T07:02:51","date_gmt":"2008-08-12T12:02:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fleeep.net\/blog\/?p=509"},"modified":"2008-08-12T07:02:51","modified_gmt":"2008-08-12T12:02:51","slug":"metanomics-fleep-on-the-spot-about-sledcc-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.fleeptuque.com\/blog\/2008\/08\/metanomics-fleep-on-the-spot-about-sledcc-2008\/","title":{"rendered":"Metanomics:  Fleep &#8220;On the Spot&#8221; About SLEDcc 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, <a href=\"http:\/\/metanomics.net\" target=\"_blank\">Metanomics<\/a> host Robert Bloomfield (SL: Beyers Sellers) put Education Correspondent <a href=\"http:\/\/fleeptuque.com\" target=\"_blank\">Fleep Tuque<\/a> &#8220;On the Spot&#8221; about the upcoming <a href=\"http:\/\/sledcc.wikispaces.com\" target=\"_blank\">Second Life Education Community Conference 2008<\/a> (SLEDcc), part of the official <a href=\"http:\/\/slconvention.org\" target=\"_blank\">Second Life Community Convention<\/a> in Tampa, FL from September 5 &#8211; 7th.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/slcn.tv\/node\/1976\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3011\/2755873391_3f4745288a.jpg?v=0\" alt=\"\" width=\"318\" height=\"250\"\/><\/a><em><br \/>\n(Click the image to view video)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fleep discussed the genesis of the SLEDcc name and gave an overview of the <a href=\"http:\/\/sledcc.wikispaces.com\/Program+%26+Events\" target=\"_blank\">six conference strands and upcoming sessions<\/a> in Tampa.  She also talked about the <strong>SLEDcc Working Groups<\/strong>, a new component of this year&#8217;s program, that will bring participants together to address four topics to generate useful resources for members of the Second Life education community.
